Greek Festival

This is from a few weekends back, but I have been not on my blogging game at all. W & I have a dear Greek friend who helps put on the Oakland Greek Festival every year. And we finally made it to the fun this year! Oh, the Gyro was A-M-A-zing!! And so was the Greek table dancing where two men danced with tables in their mouths! Crazy Greeks! :)

Beach Day!

We had a fabulous weekend in Orange County visiting the Swenson Clan. (more posts to come) One great thing we got to do was take our nephew & niece out to a great breakfast at Harbor House Cafe (think Denny's but local & better). We then headed to the beach--it was right there by the cafe--and played. The weather wasn't fabulous, but the kids didn't mind. William got right in & played while I took pictures. They built forts, trenches, and holes! 

Oh YES!!!

Two hours of fabulous-ness last night to premiere season 5!!! I can't wait for this season!

Birthday Dinner

My parents took us out to dinner last night for our birthdays and Grandma came to celebrate too! Our days are only a week apart which makes it easy. We've never been to Campo Di Bocce but it was great. Good food, good prices, and a great family activity! W got a new cam-recorder and I got a super cute dress that's super COMFY! W made sure we were thoroughly educated on Bocce Ball after his research on Wikipedia and we learned a lot about the game. 

Blog Slacker

I'm going to let my mom's post share about what we did last Saturday night! Super fun but for some reason I didn't have my camera. I've been slacking BIG TIME!

Amazingly Addicting

Wonderful, tongue-tingling goodness!! Flavorful, colorful and in a wide variety of tastes! We fight over them, and start brawling over who ate more. If we could, we would officially ban them from our pantry. Too bad that will never ever happen...

Watch out they're dangerously delicious!

Happy Earth Day!

Today, during the morning announcements, we pledged:

Today I will not litter.

Today I will not ask for something I don’t need.

Today I will remember that Earth Day is everyday!

Mountain Retreat

We were able to get away before Easter Sunday! I had Good Friday off so W & I took off Thursday night for the mountains. We stayed in W's brother's place (while they were on vacation) on the Young Life WoodLeaf Campus. It was SO great to get away, hike, hang out, and relax. We also practiced archery and W really got into chopping wood..you know, manly outdoor stuff like that! :) And our dogs did fabulously! Especially, Pancho! He's king of the mountain. He did some off-road trailing, went into the lake a little bit, and overall rugged! We were both amazed. It was gorgeously green, chilly and beautiful!! We loved it!

Fun Friday

It all started with a visiting friend who I haven't seen in awhile!! We caught up while she was up here for her spring break! Too early in the morning...  :)

It all continued with Happy Hour at Redcoats with some of awesome girls, then ended at my parents' house for dinner with Grandma & Uncle Jon (who's also visiting from out-of-town).  

After dinner & desert are over!
