We all know that we looove to wear our baby around here. Even if he's getting a bit old and prefers to get into mischief on the ground, we still do it. From the womb, little Ezra knew the difference between a warm, heart-pulsing carrier vs. a cold, hard, plastic one. He was not fooled by swings, exercsaucers, carseats, and sometimes even strollers. Thankfully, we absolutely love to wear him. I don't even want to imagine what those months would have been like if we didn't. Can we say nightmare?
A girlfriend told me about a contest that Nurture Baby Naturally is having on FB. The theme was babywearing daddies and I uploaded a pic of W wearing E to enter. And actually, she kindly sent a whole bunch she had taken during their visits with us. It made entering super easy. im surprised ezra didn't get splashed with olive oil/steam/etc. being face forward while cooking.
i always had to wear brady facing my chest while cooking. i was always so afraid he would have been burned by the splashing up of something, whether it have been EVOO or even a steam burn from boiling water.
it didnt last long, cuz with his little arms and legs always getting in the way, i could never easily prepare or cook much of anything. it was MUCH easier to let him entertain himself...so that was typically his saucer time {which, i cant believe ezra didnt like his!! ive never met a baby that wasnt in love with those things}. :)

Kara is our only baby we "wore" and I'm not sure why it took 3 kids for me to learn that. Ethan probably would've preferred the stroller and carseat though - he was just that way. He likes his own space :) Rachel though, she would've love the carrier we used with Kara. I feel guilty when I think about it too long :(
