This weekend we headed out to the Livermore Municipal Airport Open House. We heard about it on the radio as we were heading back from an awesome yard sale and decided to check it out. Even with the triple digit heat and black top, it was really fun. Tons of personal airplanes and lots of people out. W spent a good 45 mins talking to a couple about getting a pilot's license! Definitely another "wish list" item for future goals because there's no way we have $10,000 to burn! :)

Yes! Apparently, after all is said & done it's that much. I think they were saying that most people say $4-$6,000, but it's recommended that you do the extra ground classes, videos, and test...kinda like home remodeling--it always ends up being more than what you expected in the beginning!
