We had the delight of having our friends visit from Austin last week! The last time we saw them was when Isaac was only 4 weeks old and I got to carry him {while at the very end of my pregnancy with E} in the moby wrap! Hard to believe that was over three years ago.
So the three Texans joined us for a full and rainy adventure in the city on one of their days here. We did a quick stop at Union Square to check out the giant gingerbread castle then the rain died down for us to play at Ghirardelli Square.
silly faces, sword-fighting with umbrellas, ice cream in waffle cones, crepes, a CBS reporter interview, lots of wet wet wet rain, and good times with friends!!
We were so glad W could get the day off work and have a consecutive five whole days at home with us! My man in action: holding two exhausted boys AND taking a picture for a couple of tourists. Serious would be lost without him.

sigh. i havent been to the city for christmas in YEARS. like seriously, i think the last time was when Matt and I had first gotten married. hard to remember for sure, but i think. how depressing is that?!?! maybe i can convince matt to go this weekend. ;)
