On to 5 Months!

Baby T,

Yup, it's what we're calling you. How come? Well, that's what your brother calls you. So that's what we're going with.You are just the sweetest little gift to this family. We are so thankful for your calm, mellow ways. Your contentment, smiles, and easy disposition. We love your baby sweetness! Here's what we want to remember about you...

**You rolled over for the first time {while at your dr.'s check-up no less.} Way to perform at the right time, Butterball!! But I'm super glad you haven't done it since because I'm discouraging any and all forms of movement... {I've learned since last time}

**As smile-y as can be! Even if you've got less sleep, you're still so happy  {unless, of course, you're in the car...see below}

**Hate the car after you've tired of your toys. Swaddling is the best trick that's worked so far, particularly if you're tired

**My favorite thing: you grab my face to give your "kisses" on my cheeks and chin. Or when you get kisses on your neck and squeal with delight.

**Still completely swaddled for naps and nighty-night time. 

**Cradle cap seems to finally be over

**Down to 2-3 naps; love to take long afternoon ones. Very consistent at sleeping during the night. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

**Grip of steel and can be particularly painful when its my neck skin or hair

**About 10 pounds shy of matching your brother's weight...you can both fit into the same size diaper.

**Started to rub your eyes now when you're tired.

**Sitting up in your bumbo

**Your soft, pudgy belly and thick thighs are my favorite

**Love to stand up, all stiff legged and love to hold your hands together like you're praying.

*No further development on the thumb sucking, although you love to stick your fingers in your mouth. You're taking the paci more regularly now for sleep, but spit it out to make noise while awake.

**Still so vocal! You make razz noises as you fall asleep, shriek to let us know you've been abandoned if we leave the room even for a second, and make lots of loud coos when we play.

**We're still undecided on your eye color...muddy water? hazel? See, we just can't tell yet.

This month has been particularly fun to see you interact with Ezra. You're giving lots more attention and smiles his way and he knows it. It's super cute. You're even allowing him to 'wrestle' with you as he rocks you back and forth when you're both on the floor.
